Overview

Lifestyle Baltic's 15th issue presented an opportunity to evolve the magazine's visual language while maintaining its signature luxurious aesthetic. The challenge was to create a fresh, contemporary look that would appeal to the Baltic region's sophisticated audience while seamlessly integrating bilingual content (Estonian and Russian).

Premium paper stock (130g Silk interior, 200g Silk cover with gloss coating)
Design Approach

The art direction focused on three key principles:

We developed a refined typographic system that allowed both languages to coexist harmoniously:
Headlines: Clean, modern sans-serif for impact
Body Text: Elegant serif typeface for readability
Clear visual separation between languages while maintaining design cohesion

The magazine's content flow was structured through:
Generous white space
Dynamic grid system
Full-bleed imagery
Balanced text columns
Color Palette

Primary: Rich blacks and whites for sophistication
Secondary: Warm neutrals
Accent: Strategic pops of color tied to seasonal themes

The cover features Dr. Tiina Orasmäe-Meder, shot against a minimal background to emphasize the magazine's premium positioning. The masthead was refined to create a stronger brand presence while maintaining elegance.

Fashion editorials utilizing full-bleed photography
Lifestyle features with integrated typography
Restaurant reviews with atmospheric imagery

Developed a clear wayfinding system through:
